About Vlatka

My name is Vlatka Cesnik and I am a BACP-registered psychotherapeutic counsellor. Alongside my private practice, I work within NHS Talking Therapies, providing Counselling for Depression.
I hold a degree in Nutritional Therapy and a Post-Qualifying Diploma in Eating Disorders, which underpin my holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing. I specialise in working with disordered eating and eating disorders, supporting clients to explore both the emotional and behavioural aspects of their relationship with food.
I have extensive experience in mental health settings, including working within a mental health charity supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger and emotional distress. I have also provided counselling within a cancer support service, working with individuals and their families as they navigate the emotional impact of diagnosis and treatment.
Special interest
With my expertise as a qualified Nutritional Therapist, and holding a diploma in eating disorder counselling, I support individuals in understanding thier relationship with food, and emotional complexities linked to eating behaviours. I offer a safe and nurturing space where you can explore how food influences your mental and physical health.

My specialised support includes:

My approach is integrative, meaning I blend different therapeutic models to create a personalised experience for you.
By incorporating person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural techniques, I aim to help to gain deeper understanding and navigate life's challenges.
My fee is £70
I work with adults either in person or online (subject to availability). I also offer short-term counselling (6-10 sessions) at a reduced rate.
Recognising the strong link between nutrition and mental health, I believe counselling is vital for individuals with food-related conditions and disorders to effectively address both physical and psychological needs.
