A Nourished Mind Journey
About Vlatka

I have extensive experience in mental health support, having worked with a mental health charity to guide individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, anger and other emotional difficulties. Additionally, I have provided counselling services at a cancer support centre, helping individuals and their families navigate the psychological and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment journey.
My Name is Vlatka Cesnik and I am a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor with a degree in Nutritional Therapy, which informs my holistic approach to mental health and well-being. My practice specialises in counselling for disordered eating, and I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my support remains current and effective. In addition to advancing my expertise in eating disorders, I am currently training in counselling for depression with the Metanoia Institute in London.
Schedule a 20-minute consultation to explore your needs, discuss your relationship with food, and see how my compassionate, evidence-based approach to healing disordered eating can support you. This brief session helps us determine the best next steps for your journey toward a nourished mind
How I work
I work collaboratively, providing a confidential and non-judgmental environment where we can explore your inner world together.

My approach is integrative, meaning I blend different therapeutic models to create a personalised experience for you.
By incorporating person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural techniques, I aim to help you gain deeper understanding and navigate life's challenges.
I work with adults either in person or online. I also offer short-term counselling (6-10 sessions) at a reduced rate.
Special interest
With my expertise as a qualified Nutritional Therapist, I help individuals explore their relationship with food, and emotional complexities linked to food and eating habits. I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore the impact of food on your mental and physical well-being.

My specialised support includes:
- Understanding and managing emotional eating
- Chronic dieting
- Addressing body image issues
- Coping with food-related anxiety and stress
- Developing a balanced and healthy relationship with food
Session fee: £70
Recognising the strong link between nutrition and mental health, I believe counselling is vital for individuals with food-related conditions and disorders to effectively address both physical and psychological needs.
